Porn shut down by syphilis outbreak.

August 21, 2012 at 7:32 am (adult, Health)

This is what I know so far- A male performer that works OFTEN tested positive then forged his tests. This is someone I knew when I was in porn as well. He was a nice enough guy but a bit of the type to try to molest you in the makeup chair when your sceene wasn’t even with him. I am very disappointed in his actions.

There is also a female who works often who is said to be positive.

Now Diane Duke says there is only ONE case of of syphilis.  Next she will say that nobody spread it and the Free Speech Coalition (the group that she runs) is doing a great job protecting the performers.

Anyone else want to ask me if I miss performing?

Another possible positive HIV test in porn

August 28, 2011 at 9:07 pm (adult, Health, Uncategorized)

From gfy.com:

Adult performer possible tested HIV-positive ** Developing Story **
We received this info from a very credible source who wishes to remain anonymous at this point. There is an adult performer of unspecified gender that was possible tested positive or false-positive in Miami. The source made reference of a production company that will halt production in North America till things become more clear in an effort to avoid spreading the virus. I believe more production companies will follow.

LA area wife cuts off husbands penis

July 13, 2011 at 11:10 pm (Health, Los Angeles, Uncategorized)

From NY Daily News:

A woman in California cut off her estranged husband’s penis and dropped it in the garbage disposal, police said Tuesday.
She later told authorities her spouse “deserved it,” according to KTLA News.
Police in Garden Grove, a city about 25 miles south of Los Angeles, responded to the home of Catherine Becker Monday night after she called 911.
They found her 51-year-old husband, whose name was not released, bleeding from his crotch. He was rushed to the hospital and is listed in serious condition.
Becker told police she tied her husband to their bed after poisoning his food to make him sleepy, Lt. Jeff Nightengale told KTLA.
The 48-year-old waited for the man to wake up before grabbing hold of his penis and cutting it off, police said.
She then placed it into the garbage disposal and turned it on.
Becker has been charged with aggravated mayhem, false imprisonment, assault with a deadly weapon, administering a drug with intent to commit a felony, poisoning and spousal abuse.

What’s up with weed?

July 13, 2011 at 10:54 am (Health, personal, Uncategorized)

Yesterday I found out that a former coworker of mine, who was on probation for a domestic incident, was driving a girl home from work when he got pulled over. Upon the police discovery that he was on probation, his car was searched. The girl of whom he was driving home was carrying marijuana. Because it was in his car they were both taken to jail and the violation of probation caused him to earn 6 months in the LA towers.

Granted I’m not on probation and probably never will be.  and I don’t know the details of what got him on probation in the first place.  Still the people who regularly smoke marijuana many times can’t seem to respect the fact that people don’t want extra attention from law enforcement.

I have had fights with people who smoke weed over the years because they like to grandstand about how harmless it is.Yes, I get it. You can’t die from smoking weed. It does not cause people to get violent and kill people. But why do you guys feel the need to carry it around and smoke it anytime, anywhere? I can’t tell you how many times over the years I’ve driven a friend somewhere and from their belongings they’ll produce a bag, joint, bong, etc. and just start smoking it in my car. Same goes with my house, but the car is more concerning. If I say something they can never respect that I don’t want it there and will lecture me about how it’s “just pot” or “basically legal” or “not really a drug” or something to that effect. What’s wrong with just respecting that I don’t want it there?

Unlike hard drugs marijuana leaves a smell that makes it easier to find then a bag of cocaine, which I also don’t do btw.

And maybe it’s safe but does it not cause other problems? Yes! I had a roommate after college that did nothing all day besides lay and bed, smoke weed, and stick me with the bills. Oh, and have her pothead friends over that treated my apartment like a teenage crashing pad.

Does anyone else understand what I’m trying to say?  Try to respect that others might not want to have problems for drugs they don’t even do or like, regardless of the fact its “practicly leagal”.

Condoms in porn

June 11, 2011 at 4:28 pm (adult, Health, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Travel, Uncategorized)

In the last weeks Cal/OSHA meeting there was a huge industry upset in that they were informed that they are requred by law to use condoms at all times in film, simulate popshots, and no internal cumshots. They said that they are legaly required to do so and have been for at least 10 years. Twitter among the industry went crazy, very angry upset tweets. Many said they would just move to Miami or Vegas to shoot. But is that the best answer? It’s not legal to shoot in either city. People in the valley don’t seem to understand that the whole world isn’t porn valley. If a few insidents take place it could cause a lot of problems. I have even heard that if you shoot in Las Vegas, you could face 10 years in jail. Who knows how true that is. Personally, I don’t want to find out.

On the bright side, and I know nobody wants to hear it, but I’ve had beautiful, above porn quaility model-type girls, and some being actual models and actresses tell me they would be interested in porn, but ‘oh yeah there are no condoms and I don’t want to catch (fill in STD here.) I’ve met other retired girls, some of which were huge name AVN winners that said they would love to shoot again but not without a condom because they feel they can’t be exposed to more STDs. So in some ways I think the quality of performers could get to be very good from this.

I can remember before I got in the industry watching hot movies from companies like VCA and Vivid that showed condoms but they were well done feature films. I remember watching non-condom movies and they were hot also but there was a part of me in the back of my mind that wondered about STD exposure.

If the indusrty does in fact have to go back to using condoms, maybe they should also go back to putting out a higher-end product rather than the gonzo, here’s a couch, here’s some florecent lights, girl fucks, girls gets cum in her face prototype. They may argue that the higher end will lose money but in all honesty because of over-satuation and Internet piracy they will all be losing money regardless. Porn is no longer a get rich quick sceeme and may never be again.

Cal/OSHA meeting tomorrow

June 6, 2011 at 1:33 pm (adult, Health, Los Angeles, Uncategorized)

From FSC:

Free Speech Coalition is urging industry members to attend a CalOSHA Advisory Subcommittee addressing the issue of condom regulation on adult production sets, as well as other workplace health and safety issues for the adult industry.

The meeting is scheduled for 10am on June 7, to be held at the CalTrans Building, 100 S. Main St., Los Angeles, CA 90012.

“We strongly suggest that industry members affected by content production, especially performers, producers and talent agents, attend this meeting,” said FSC Executive Director Diane Duke. “It’s possible that this may by the last meeting before the advisory subcommittee offers recommendations to CalOSHA Standards Board. If so, this could be the last opportunity for CalOSHA to hear from industry members on the subject of mandatory condom use and other regulations that will have direct impact on adult production.”

CalOSHA has issued a draft of topics to be discussed at the meeting. They include; STI testing protocol; required use of condoms and other barrier protection (including gloves and eye protection); on-set hygiene; systems for medical services, post-exposure evaluations and follow-ups; vaccinations (HBV and HPV); performer training and education; record-keeping; and producer responsibility for compliance.

The subcommittee meeting is open to the public. While there may not be opportunity for each attendee to speak, Duke emphasized that attendance for this meeting is very important so that the subcommittee has a sense of industry unity and interest in these topics.

Update on last 2 stories

May 24, 2011 at 2:37 pm (Health, Heather Pink, Los Angeles, personal, Uncategorized)

The world didn’t end. Maybe that’s a good thing.

I found a better, new doctor who is less than a mile from my house. He didn’t bring up cancer at all. He did, however want to run more tests on me. I have to go into the hospital tomorrow for these tests.

Wish me luck.

Any medical knowledge? Bad doctor? Should I be worried?

May 16, 2011 at 7:54 am (Health, personal)

Over the last few months their has been some changes in my health that have seemed to worsen over the last couple of months. It was bad enough that I made an appointment to see a doctor last week. I had a great doctor in Manhattan, but since I’m now back in Los Angeles that meant to find a new one here. I went in expecting she would maybe examine me, write me a perscription and I’d go home. So, when I went in it started with her asking me questions about my syptoms. Normal right? Then she starts the examination. She was ROUGH, not nice about it at all. It was actully hurting. Then when it was over she said that the exam seemed normal but from from the sympoms I gave her it seemed like I had cancer and to scedule a biopcy.

I don’t want to go into details but if really have the type of cancer that she said I’d be very, very worried.

Then after I scheduled the biopcy and was leaving they callled me back in saying they needed to take blood from me. The tech missed my veins 4 times and screamed at me saying I seemed nervious and it was messing her up. Duh. You think?

How often are doctors wrong about this stuff? To be honest I want a second opinon allready and I haven’t even had a first opinion. To be honest, if the exam hurt that much with her hands, what will it feel like with her coming at me with surgical insterments? Should I get a new doctor before any of this happens?

What the hell is really going on in the porn industry?

May 11, 2011 at 7:25 pm (adult, Health, Los Angeles, Uncategorized)

First AIM tells us they are re-modeling, but proves to be a lie. What timing to remodel right after the security breech that put our real names all over the Internet went public. So they fessed up about closing because they can never afford the class action lawsuits against them for the same insident.

Then the Free Speech Coalition steps up. I silently never trusted them since 2006. They seem to be all for free speech until you say something they don’t like. There was a big issue with RSVPing and who they would be allowing in and who they’ll be turning away at the door. Due to a scheduling conflict I didn’t know I was able to attend until the last minute so I just read the notes online.

Performers now have a new organization that they have to pay to join but it is not a union.

There is a new advisory board that is headed by medical proffessionals but they are not medical doctors either.

They are still claiming that porn is safer than dating and it’s ok to ignore herpes, hepititis, BV, and those rampid yeast infections. Um, ok. Sure!

For those of you who message me when I’m going to get back into the industry, try in many, many years from now when this is 100% fixed. By then I’ll be so old you won’t want to look anyway.

Glad this isn’t my problem anymore. Just sayin.
