BBW trainwreck performer charged with murder

February 10, 2013 at 12:17 am (adult, legal)

Adult film actress Jennifer Marchant, 23, pleaded not guilty to second degree murder in the death of her 24-year-old boyfriend, Ralph Stone, the Tonawanda News reported on Feb. 7. When police and paramedics arrived, Stone was found bleeding in Marchant’s apartment with a single stab wound to his neck area. Ralph Stone was attended to by police and paramedics, but died a short time later.

Friends say Marchant worked as an adult film entertainer, making films as recently as a year ago. Using the stage name Scarlett Rouge, her Twitter account says Jennifer retired from adult films last year.

Friends say Jennifer Marchant often wrote about boyfriend Ralph Stone on Facebook. Stone was the father of a two-year-old daughter.

Wednesday night, North Tonawanda police responded to a domestic violence disturbance at Jennifer Marchant’s apartment at 580 Oliver Street in North Tonawanda. Police are not providing a motive at this time, but North Tonawanda police have spoken with Marchant. It is not clear if Marchant confessed to the stabbing of Ralph Stone or not.

During Jennifer Marchant’s arraignment in North Tonawanda City Court Thursday morning, she was remanded without bail, with a court date set for Feb. 11. Both Jennifer Marchant and Ralph Stone had a history of arrests.

Michelle Stone, Ralph’s mother, cannot believe that her son is dead. Michelle said that “to know him [Ralph] is to love him. He was just a fun-loving kid with a really big heart. He worshipped his daughter. She was premature and he was there all the time.”

Michelle Stone said that after a recent rough patch, Ralph was about to start a job at National Fuel and go to the University at Buffalo Law School. Ralph Stone’s mother admits the couple “had a few spats, but every relationship every relationship does. But as far as I know, they got along well. She came for Christmas. She seemed like a real nice girl.”

“Everything was turning around positive for him. We were very proud of him,” Ralph’s mother said.

Question for current adult perormers- Why do you still perform in 2013?

January 25, 2013 at 1:26 pm (adult, Los Angeles)

A friend of mine who also used to perform and I were recently discussing this. Back when I was in the industry the average shelf life for a performer was about 18 months. Now with so many more girls combined with less companies shooting shelf life is down to about 4 to 6 months.

They do not want to build you up to be a big star. They would rather have you be a random girl on the internet or a small name on a DVD box if you’re lucky. No, you will not be the next Sasha Grey.

You will not go onto the feature dance circuit and for 2 reasons. The first going back to the fact being that your name will never be big enough, second being that not as many clubs are doing this with the economy being bad, or they are paying less per show. Costume and travel expenses are really high. You will never make your money back.

If you start a website you will just get your content stolen and uploaded for free by the tube sites so you won’t make money there either. Either that or you fans will just watch you for free on tube sites rather than pay to join yours.

Lastly, there’s escorting which always was a taboo subject in porn. Very famous performers are now charging $200-$400 on sites like Humanaplex and Backpage and the fans know it. Do you think they will ever pay $1,200-$1,800 ever again? Then, they go and write about it on review sites to spread the word to others that used to pay that rate.

Why work in the sex industry now, weed money? It’s one thing If you are doing this and living well, but if you fuck for a living and live in a cheap motel, or at your parents house you are degrading yourself.

Just wow.

December 10, 2012 at 8:37 am (adult, Heather Pink, personal)

There is an increase in “new fans” these days that are contacting me saying “they recently became my fan after they discovered me for free on a tube site.”  This is usually followed by some moronic questions or statements.

Just stop following my career that ended in 2007. I don’t care if you don’t like me anymore. I don’t like you.

And BTW, “new fans”, while we are on this subject…. Hitting me up on my personal Facebook page where I speak to people I’ve grown up with and family members isn’t the best way to approach me either.

Porn shut down by syphilis outbreak.

August 21, 2012 at 7:32 am (adult, Health)

This is what I know so far- A male performer that works OFTEN tested positive then forged his tests. This is someone I knew when I was in porn as well. He was a nice enough guy but a bit of the type to try to molest you in the makeup chair when your sceene wasn’t even with him. I am very disappointed in his actions.

There is also a female who works often who is said to be positive.

Now Diane Duke says there is only ONE case of of syphilis.  Next she will say that nobody spread it and the Free Speech Coalition (the group that she runs) is doing a great job protecting the performers.

Anyone else want to ask me if I miss performing?

Fans/Readers: Stop telling me to get back into performing!!!

July 14, 2012 at 11:49 am (adult, Heather Pink, personal)

In the last month I have read emails from more than one individual that reads something like:

“Don’t you miss performing?”

“I have a great idea- you can go back to performing!”

“For my own selfish reasons I am hoping you go back to performing.”

“How could you EVER want to quit performing?”

Or simmilar questions. If you really read my blog you might be able to see there is\was more to me than what I did on screen years ago. Your wanting this for my life is an insult. Not to mention that I’m several years older than I was when performing. Add the fact that I live 3 thousand miles away from the porn industry. 98% of porn shot outside LA or maybe Miami isn’t even legitimate companies. So I risk getting hurt or killed.

Plus even the legitimate porn industry is in the toilet these days. If you really want to know what’s going on in porn don’t read any of the “porn cheerleader” blogs. You can tell who they are if they post press releases. If you want to read a good, truthful porn industry blog is the best one to read.

If you really feel the best thing I can do with my life is get back into porn, just quit reading my blog. I don’t need your readership.

Male adult performer Sledge Hammer confirmed dead

April 13, 2012 at 5:31 pm (adult, Uncategorized)

From Xbiz:

LOS ANGELES — Adult performer Sledge Hammer died early this morning at the age of 39, director Stoney Curtis, his close friend of 20 years, confirmed to XBIZ.

Sledge Hammer, whose legal name was Marland Anderson, had been in a coma since Monday morning after an altercation with police on Sunday nightthat resulted in him being shot with a Taser gun, Curtis said.

According to Curtis, Anderson had been dealing with various forms of depression during the last several years, and his marijuana use madethedepression worse.

“It turned out he genetically had a mild form of schizophrenia, and it wasn’t a problem until he started smoking pot and taking various things for depression,” Curtis explained. “It got worse and he would have thoughts of extremeparanoia and anxiety.”

On Sunday night in Reseda, Anderson suffered a severe anxiety attack and his girlfriend called 911 to prevent him from harming himself.

“She felt as though he was mentally unstable,” Curtissaid. “Shewas requesting an ambulance to come get him, but the police showed up with an ambulanceandthepolice walked him down to the ambulance.”

According to the information Curtis received, Anderson did not want to be inside the ambulance and his anxiety worsened, so the ambulancepersonnellet himout andcalled the police back to the residence.

“The police came and instead of trying to talk to him or grab him and get him to the ground or the paramedics giving him a sedative, they decided to break out their tasers and just tasered him excessively until the point where he went into cardiac arrest,” Curtis said. “After he went into cardiac arrest, they rushed him to the hospital and revived him. But they estimated that his heart had stopped beating for 10 minutes. They got his heart beating again and put him on a respirator, but he had massiveswelling in thebrain from the loss of oxygen.”

Anderson fought for his life all week, Curtis said, but doctors told Anderson’s mother that he likely would never come out of the coma and if he did, he would not regain cognitive functions. So Anderson’s mother decided to take him off the respirator Thursday night.

“The family felt as though he was never going to be the sameand never going to wake up, so the mother made the decision to pull the respirator, it was her call,” Curtiscontinued. “He passed away at 5 o’clock in the morning at Northridge Hospital.”

Anderson, who was born in Seattle, performed in morethan 800 porn moviessince1995, but no one knew him and his work better than Curtis, who madehima star withhis numerous scenes for Celestial Productions and then Lethal Hardcore.

“You won’t find too many people that would have a bad thing to say about Marland. He was a very warm-hearted, funny guy who loved his comic books, loved heavy metal, and was very respectful to every girl he ever worked with,” Curtissaid. “And I think most of the guys that worked with him would say the same.”

Curtis met Anderson at the Pizza Hut where Anderson worked not long after graduating from high school in Mission Viejo, Calif.

“He didn’t have much confidence in himself, but I looked at him and said you should have all the confidence in the world in yourself,” Curtis recalled. “Theguy wasbuilt likea brick-house. I wasn’t even in porno yet and the two of us knew each other. I’m probably his oldest friend and I just feel horrible.”

Curtis said he is in the process of initiating a full-scale investigation into the incident that caused Anderson to be subdued by police.

“We believe there was excessive force used and investigators and attorneys will be called to get to the bottom of what happened to Marland Anderson,” Curtissaid. “Stoney Curtis will see to it that he does not die in vain.

“What I would like to see is a separate number called for people with psychiatric issues where the police are not involved, because the police do not how to handle someone who is having a mental breakdown. They just break out their clubs and tasers. People shouldn’t be dying just because they are having a mental breakdown.”

He added, “Marlon was not a violent person. He had no police record, none. He had no weapon on him. They were the ones that walked him down to the ambulance. Hewas already frisked. They knew he wasn’t armed. Why did he get tasered so much. If they wouldn’t have done that, Marland Anderson would still be alive today
