Question for current adult perormers- Why do you still perform in 2013?

January 25, 2013 at 1:26 pm (adult, Los Angeles)

A friend of mine who also used to perform and I were recently discussing this. Back when I was in the industry the average shelf life for a performer was about 18 months. Now with so many more girls combined with less companies shooting shelf life is down to about 4 to 6 months.

They do not want to build you up to be a big star. They would rather have you be a random girl on the internet or a small name on a DVD box if you’re lucky. No, you will not be the next Sasha Grey.

You will not go onto the feature dance circuit and for 2 reasons. The first going back to the fact being that your name will never be big enough, second being that not as many clubs are doing this with the economy being bad, or they are paying less per show. Costume and travel expenses are really high. You will never make your money back.

If you start a website you will just get your content stolen and uploaded for free by the tube sites so you won’t make money there either. Either that or you fans will just watch you for free on tube sites rather than pay to join yours.

Lastly, there’s escorting which always was a taboo subject in porn. Very famous performers are now charging $200-$400 on sites like Humanaplex and Backpage and the fans know it. Do you think they will ever pay $1,200-$1,800 ever again? Then, they go and write about it on review sites to spread the word to others that used to pay that rate.

Why work in the sex industry now, weed money? It’s one thing If you are doing this and living well, but if you fuck for a living and live in a cheap motel, or at your parents house you are degrading yourself.

New Years Party Recap

January 14, 2013 at 12:50 am (Gia Jordan, Heather Pink, mainstream, New York, Noel Ashman)

New Year’s 2013 was the best I had in years! So good in fact that I still havent fully recovered. I usually opt not to drink. I probably have as little as 8 drinks a year. I had a few more than that from what I remember.

This pic says it all. I woke up the following night (yes, night!) sick and have had the flu ever since. But it was the best night out I had in a very long time. Special thanks to Noel Ashman, Gia Jordan, Melle Mel, Liam McMullan and all the new friends I made that night.

Joselyn Wohl, ex of Andrew Parker sued for attack of her sobrity coach

January 13, 2013 at 11:05 pm (Andrew Parker, New York, personal, Uncategorized)

UPPER EAST SIDE — A Manhattan heiress  with substance abuse problems roughed up her sobriety companion in her dad’s  swanky Southampton home, a new lawsuit charges.

Joselyn Wohl, the daughter of real estate mogul Larry Wohl, is accused of  throwing her addiction coach, Heather McKean, down a flight of stairs and  choking her.

McKean is now suing Joselyn, her father and her socialite mother, Denise  Wohl, for not doing enough to safeguard against the 32-year-old heiress’  “violent propensities,” according to a lawsuit filed Monday in Manhattan  Civil Supreme Court.

McKean’s lawyer, Bryan J. Swerling, said his client had worked for a year  with Joselyn as a live-in companion before the alleged March 5 attack.

“She was hired by the Wohls, Denise and Larry, to spend time with her  daughter, who obviously had some issues,” Swerling said. “One day Joselyn made  up her mind she didn’t want Heather around anymore and attacked her on the  stairwell and yanked her down the stairs.”

Swerling said Joselyn then choked McKean until his client managed to free  herself and locked herself in a room to call police. The lawyer said Southampton  cops took her into custody but never formally charged her.

“It took [McKean] by surprise,” Swerling said of the alleged attack. “It’s my  understanding that Joselyn has had some prior outbursts.”

The Southampton Town Police Department did not immediately  provide information on the alleged incident.

The Wohls, who have a Park Avenue apartment, are known for their philanthropy  and hosting galas around the city. Joselyn’s socialite sister, Arden Wohl, who  sports a signature headband, frequently shows up as a boldface name in gossip  columns.

A message left at Larry Wohl’s real estate firm was not immediately  returned.

Swerling said McKean suffered back and knee injuries in the alleged attack  and will need to have surgery.

McKean, who now lives in Florida, is also suing her employer, Cerberus Life Management. The lawsuit does not specify the  amount she seeks.
