Breaking: everyone involved in online dating is a craven, superficial liar. And that’s the good news. We’re all equal! Dating should be a breeze, since we’re all young, tall, wealthy, and attractive (online). But the evidence says: love’s tough.
In a new data-mining study of online dating of the sort that everyone trying to fill a news hole loves, the following facts were revealed: Men think women go downhill after age 21. A 5’8 guy needs to make $80K more than a 5’10 guy to be judged as attractive as him. And neither are as attractive as a broke, six-foot tall guy. The majority of people make themselves taller and slimmer online. They also raise their pay by 20% (or more, if they’re older). And uh, “80% of self-identified bisexuals are only interested in one gender.”
In other words, everybody’s pretty much less attractive than we say we are. (Except bisexuals, who are apparently just teases). So you’d think it would be easy to just knock about 25% off anyone’s stated attractiveness in an online profile, and move on from there. But the US birth rate is declining, so love connections don’t seem to be that easy to come by. Where oh where are all the sexxxy, college-educated women? They’re lap dancers now.
If you want love for free, you have to take what you can get these days.
I have been in Philadelphia in a program for my weight since the end of June. I became stressed out, depressed and sick. I had someone in my life who were telling me I was physically unattractive and not significant. They would go through the list of girls that were “better than me” I even heard that Samantha Ronson was better looking than me! I was diagnosed with anorexia nervosa. The experts that I speak to on a regular basis says this person was most likely a contributing factor in this, even though the tendencies may have been there longer. I am furious with this person and how they treated me. They say I have every right to be.
I was hospitalized 9 times this year due to electrolyte imbalances, blackouts, internal organ problems, and malnutrition. It is very difficult to enter a program, even with insurance. Most insurances will cover for drug and chemical dependency, but not eating disorders. Plus, it is not even legal for programs to recommend an insurance company that may cover. It took me 6 months for me to get excepted by one. By the time I was excepted, this person had left, saying, “I don’t care what happens to you.” I would never put someone else through that and be able to sleep at night. It felt like I had nothing left.
I entered this world renown program on June 28, 2010. I weighed 80 pounds, which dropped to 78 pounds within a few days. I was examined by internist who ruled that by body could no longer absorb food or the medications. I would have died. I was hospitalized for yet another month, on IVs, and later on a feeding tube. I would have to eat one food a day until my body could produce digestive emzymes starting with rice, then baby food, (the fruit ones were actually good) eventually I was able to eat most things and my weight went up.
As of today I am making arrangements to leave the program on September 17th. On Tuesday I will be looking into another program part-time in Las Vegas, which was one of the cities I was looking into moving to anyway. I just want to make sure I continue to do well. I have no idea how much I weigh and am not sure I want to know,( although I miss my Hello Kitty scale, heeheehee)
It is very dificult for me to go public with this, go easy on me.
I just built an account on Foursquare. From what I understand I log on with my Iphone wherever I may be, plus I can add people much like Facebook, Twitter, etc. If there is anything else I should know about this site, feel free to comment.
Anyways, if you are on this site, you may add me here:

Heather, I found your blog interesting. I wish you the best in your future
pursuits. I know that you get a lot of the questions about the industry, sex,
etc. I have strong interest in behavioral economics, as result I am interested
to understand the economics of the porn industry. It would seem given the viral
effects of free downloading that it wouldn’t be as lucrative today as prior
years. However, I observe that new porn sites are constantly created and new
girls entering the industry. Would you be open to sharing your experiences on
Answer: This is talked about often by others in the industry often in the last couple of years. 7-10 years ago, starting a porn site or a line of videos with distribution was considered lucrative. Now there is so much content that was already made that is not moving. It’s easier to access a tube site than to buy a site membership or video. The industry has tried unsuccessfully to stop these sites, which are mostly located offshore, from what I understand.
And yes, new girls are entering the porn industry all the time. When I entered the industry in the early 2000’s The industry was thought of as a last resort still, for girls that had acting or modeling careers that didn’t pan out. Now because of Paris Hilton, Jenna Jameson and others, girls are coming out of high school saying”I want to be a porn star. like they are saying “I want to be a flight attendant.” I alway told girls if there was a chance that they would make it in any other career, go do that first, or go to school. There is no going back once you have made these movies and it can keep you from holding most types of professions once you have done so.

From NY Daily News:
The Boston medical student who preyed on Craigslist escorts and murdered a Manhattan model last year was found dead in prison Sunday – an apparent suicide on what would have been his first wedding anniversary.
Philip Markoff, 24, was found dead Sunday morning in his Nashua St. Jail cell in Boston, where he was awaiting his March murder trial.
He may have died Saturday, the exact anniversary of his canceled wedding.
A prison source told the Daily News that Markoff was found with a plastic bag over his head, stabbed in the neck and legs. There was a lot of blood.
Prison officials would not confirm that report.
A separate source, a guard at the prison, told the News that Markoff’s training in anatomy might have helped him beat anti-suicide measures.
“He’s one step beyond other inmates and can do things other inmates can’t, because he knows about the human body,” the guard told the News. “He’s a medical student so if he gets a sharp instrument, he might be able to bleed himself out.”
Markoff was arrested in April 2009 for the murder of Julissa Brisman, 26, a model and aspiring actress from the Upper West Side.
Brisman, who moonlighted as an erotic masseuse, was shot dead when she fought Markoff’s attempts to tie her up and rob her in the plush Marriott Copley Place hotel in downtown Boston.
Police said Markoff had answered her ad on Craiglist.
When Markoff, a native of upstate New York, was arrested, he was about to start medical school and marry Megan McAllister, his college sweetheart at the University of Albany.
They had a ritzy Jersey Shore wedding planned for Aug. 14, 2009.
McAllister initially defended her fiance, telling the media he “couldn’t hurt a fly” and was “a beautiful person inside and out.”
Within weeks, as evidence emerged that Markoff had panties and restraints hidden in his boxspring and a handgun hidden in a hollowed-out copy of the medical textbook “Gray’s Anatomy” under the bed, she changed her mind and canceled the waterfront wedding in Long Branch, N.J.
Markoff had been on a brief suicide watch just after his arrest last spring when he reportedly tried to hang himself with his shoe laces and slice his wrists with a sharpened spoon.
The prison guard told the News that Markoff had no friends in prison and kept to himself in his cellblock, which was restricted to murderers.
“He secluded himself. He (did) a lot of reading. The other guys are not like him. He’s educated; most of these guys come from the street,” the guard said.
Police said the former Boston University medical student robbed escorts on the theory that they would not call the cops. Brisman fought back, so he killed her, cops said.
Markoff was charged with the armed robbery of another escort in another fancy Boston hotel, and a third assault of an escort at a Rhode Island motel.
Police said he might have had other victims who were too afraid to come forward, some of them men or transsexuals.
Police nabbed Markoff after trailing him through cyberspace: tracking his emails, pinpointing the location of his phone calls and watching security camera footage.
Sadly, Markoff appears to have spawned some copycats.
A Massachusetts man was arrested just last week for arranging to meet an escort through Craigslist and robbing her.
I think it’s because of stress. I’m looking at new houses in another city plus undergoing treatment for something I may or may not disclose later. I’m working on a couple of entries and I am open to ideas. Just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
